Cell phones and other electronics are addicting. Unfortunately stealing our sleep time in the evening.

Powering off all electronics at least 1/2 hour before your bed time can be extremely beneficial for your sleep. No screens before bed prepares your body for a restful (quality and quantity) night of sleep suppressing and releasing beneficial sleep hormones.

Getting outside (doesn’t have to be as picturesque as Yosemite) is beneficial for your health. When you’re outside there’s a good chance you’re moving and catching rays 🌞

You’ve probably heard to drink milk for calcium and strong bones. BUT, the countries with the lowest milk consumption have the lowest rates of osteoporosis and fractures.

There’s a large (and growing) body of research showing milks lack of benefits and poor negative side effects.

There’s no good science to back up the recommendations to drink 3 glasses a day.

So if you consume milk and you experience bloating, acne, allergies, or eczema it may be time time to give milk a hiatus.

Nut milks or goat milk could be a good alternative to conventional milk. The form of casein in goat’s milk is different and won’t create gut issues that is found in the casein prevalent in cow’s milk. Goats milk is also easier to digest and has high levels of MCTs, which boost metabolism and brain function.
